Site Operative
Start Date: As soon as possible, subject to pre-employment checks
Contract type: Permanent (following a 6-month probationary period), Monday – Friday, term time only. 30 hours per week: 8am – 2.00pm, with flexibility to work occasional shift pattern up to 5pm.
Salary: Scale 2, Scale points 3-4. Annual FTE salary £24,192-£24,569, actual salary £16,853-£17,115
Rigby Hall Special School is situated within the Aston Fields area of Bromsgrove, Worcestershire. Our aim is to provide a high quality education for those children and young people aged from Reception to Post 16, with a range of learning difficulties and/or autism.
Due to the continued growth of our school, we are looking to appoint a Site Operative who is hard working, proactive, motivated, a team player and takes pride in their work!
Ideally you should have some Health and Safety training but the most important thing is a positive, can-do attitude and flexibility. Experience of working in a school would be an advantage but not essential. You should also be willing to undertake further training where necessary.

Full Time Class Teacher with SEN allowance
Start date: January 1st 2024, subject to pre-employment checks.
Salary range: Main pay scale (M1-M6) plus SEN1 allowance.
We are excited to offer the above opportunity at our popular 4 -19 special school for pupils with moderate, severe and complex learning difficulties, that include challenging behaviours and SEMH.
You must be able to deliver exciting and engaging activities and be a good communicator, able to lead the class, work flexibly and be able to manage and work together with our teaching assistants. You must be able to teach within our MLD, SLD or Complex needs classes, which will be discussed further at interview.
You will have skills and understanding of a range of teaching and learning strategies to make a positive impact on the children’s progress, considering their learning styles, communication and sensory needs.
