As part of our continued growth and our holistic practice, we now have a new and exciting opportunity for a dynamic Pastoral Support Manager to join our close-knit team at Rigby Hall School, which is an all-age special school in Bromsgrove, Worcestershire.


You will be working across the school from Early Years to Year 13, managing a team to plan, co-ordinate, deliver and monitor effective interventions and strategies to support and enable pupils to access their learning.

Grade: PO2 – 37 hours per week – Full Year

Salary: £35,745 - £38,890 per annum



Rigby Hall Special School is situated within the Aston Fields area of Bromsgrove, Worcestershire. Our aim is to provide a high quality education for those children and young people aged from nursery to post 16, with a range of learning difficulties and/or autism.

Due to the retirement of our current School Business Manager we are looking to appoint someone who is motivated and can work from their own initiative, with experience in Business/Finance management in a school setting. You will be highly organised and demonstrate strong leadership skills, managing a team of Office staff including Office Manager, two Administrators and a Receptionist. You will work strategically with the Headteacher and be part of the Senior Leadership Team.

You will have excellent knowledge of the requirements to support the school ensuring Health and Safety and creating processes and policies in line with the needs of our school. You will have experience of using E5/Collaborative Planning or have knowledge of an alternative system that may be implemented into the school.
