An exciting opportunity has arisen at our friendly, welcoming and ever expanding special needs school for an:

Experienced Office Administrator with Finance Responsibilities, to work 2 days a week Monday and Friday 8am - 4pm, term time only, 15 hours per week.

New Scale 5/6 (Previously Scale 3) £6,349.41 - £6,476.43

We are looking for a warm, friendly, dedicated and well organised School Administrator with Finance Responsibilities, to provide administrative, secretarial and financial support services for the school.

This is a varied role where no two days are the same! Part of the role will involve you dealing with incoming calls, emails, visitors, staff and pupils.  In addition to this you will be responsible for stock control, petty cash, credit card reconciliation and raising some purchase orders. This is not an exhaustive list as the role is ever changing.

You will need to be able to work independently, have good self-motivation, and excellent communications skills.  A flexible approach and a willingness to undertake further training and a wide range of duties is also an essential quality for this post.

You will need to be computer literate with a good understanding of Microsoft Office.

Experience of SIMs/ScholarPack, E5/SAP and of working in a school office are also highly desirable.

Cover Supervisor/Teaching Assistant Grade 3

Mon - Fri, term time only, 8.45am – 4pm (33 hours, 45 minutes per week) plus TE Days, £16,261 - £19,601 per annum

We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic, efficient, flexible, friendly and reliable person to cover short term absence of teaching staff, taking sole charge of a group of students and on occasion to be a class based Teaching Assistant. Students will learn by carrying out work prepared by the Classroom Teacher and their absence, delivered by the Cover Supervisor. The primary focus will be to maintain good order and keep students on task.  Invigilating at exam times may also be a requirement of this role.
